Colonel, Israeli Air Force, Reserve. During Operation Peace for Galilee in 1982, he shot down nine Syrian aircraft, including the MiG-23 and Su-22. At the same time, he shot down four planes during a combat mission. After completing his military service, he worked as a consultant at the Israel Aviation Industry Concern and became one of the founders of a company, which dealt with infrastructure projects in developing countries.
Eytan Stibbe is a global impact investment pioneer, philanthropist, and former pilot in the Israeli aircraft. In April 2022, Eytan Stibbe was the second Israeli in space and first to visit the International Space Station. Together with the Ramon foundation and the Israeli Space Agency the Rakia mission was created, Eytan Stibbe flew to space and conducted many experiments in the ISS.
