later doctor of technical sciences degree; Colonel, Soviet Air Force, Ret.; was
selected as cosmonaut on 07.03.1960 (TsPK-1);
OKP (cosmonaut basic training): 3/60 - 03.04.1961; was
assigned as backup for
Soyuz 38; later Chief State Committee for
foreign economy relationships; resigned from active duty 1989 and worked then
as an engineer in the transport industry and became later managing director of
several companies; died of a heart attack. |
