from Higher Air Force School, Chernigov, Ukraine, 1963; was selected on
07.05.1967 as cosmonaut (TsPK-4);
OKP (cosmonaut basic training): 5/67 - 18.08.1969; was
withdrawn from training of personal (political?) reasons; was then fighter
pilot, aircraft commander in Afghanistan and Deputy Squadron Leader in the 8th
Air Division; resigned from Air Force 1987 and worked then as head for carrier
machines in a factory; since 1996 he was a pensioneer; died of a heart
attack. |
