Bachelor of science in physics from Tufts University, 1962; master of science in nuclear engineering from MIT, 1966; Captain, US Navy, Ret.; test pilot; hobbies: Skiing, sailing, squash, working on his 1958 Corvette; later President of International Technology Underwriters in Washington D.C.; he is now President and Chief Executive Officer of AXA Space, Bethesda, Maryland. In May 2010, he was appointed to the board of Cianbro, a Maine-based construction company.
