Institute (MFTI), Dolgoprudny, Moscow region, as a specialist in
Aircraft Flight Dynamics and Control, 1979 and- post-graduate study at
MFTI as a specialist in the following field: Mechanics
of Fluids and Plasma, 1983; worked with
NPO Energiya; was selected as cosmonaut by
GMVK on 15.02.1984 (NPOE-6);
OKP (cosmonaut basic training): 11/85 - 10/86; was
already assigned for mission of
Soyuz TM-7, but grounded of medical reasons;
hobbies: trampolining, jogging, book reading, growing flowers; since 30.10.2006
